Comments from IALEFI 2006
West Palm Beach, FL

“It was one of the best classes I attended, providing me with knowledge that applied to what I do for a living. It was very advanced, and very helpful to the trainers I brought along.

It definitely provided them with skills that were lacking from their general computer classes. The topic was specific to what they do. We enjoyed it and obtained very much from it.”
- Lieutenant Jeff Swank, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, FL

- - -

“I’ve been using Windows for years, but most of the class covered stuff I never knew about. I was totally impressed, because it showed us that even though we thought we knew a lot, we didn’t”.
- Officer Thomas Royal II, Coleman Police Department, MI

- - -

“I thought it was very beneficial as far as upgrading and improving the quality of your presentations. I really, really enjoyed the class. I learned a lot in those 4 hours, although I wish it had been longer. The class was very, very beneficial.” - Corporal Rodney Horton, Shreveport Police Department, LA

- - -

“Because I don’t use it a lot, I tend to miss some of the finer points. It was a great reminder and refresher for me. Some aspects I wasn’t even aware of! Even though it was compressed, and I wished it was a couple of days longer, what I learned helped me recently with programs. I used it right away.”
- Assistant Chief David Gaud, Department of Land and Natural Resources, HI

- - -

“Probably one of the best PowerPoint® classes I’ve ever seen. He cleared up issues on how to use it. It was very, very informative. Most of us usually cut out of the conference before Friday afternoon, but most of us stayed for Tom’s class, which really says something.
I never knew you could dump information from Word® straight it into PowerPoint®. The animation was ‘whoa’ - unbelievable! This guy really knows his stuff.
We couldn’t get out of there if we wanted to – that’s how dynamic he is.”
- James D. Daniels, Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA)

- - -

“Phenomenal class, it was excellent! I picked up more in two hours… and I’ve been dealing with PowerPoint® for years.

After 17 years at IALEFI it was the only time I stayed for a Friday afternoon class.”
- Paul Trautmann
Deputy Commander of SWAT Team, Downingtown PD, PA
