I don't know if I'll really be doing a lot of Powerpoint presentations in the way that a teacher or instructor would. However, I learned a lot more about Powerpoint and I see some applications that aren't necessarily for the purposes of a slide presentation. I can see myself using one slide that has links to documents or video that may come in handy. I see Powerpoint as much more than 5 or 6 very bland slides with 3 bullet points each. Mr. Warren was a very good instructor. He was clear, knowledgeable, and explained things well. I'm glad the class moved quickly through the exercises and we didn't get bogged down going step-by-step given that everybody is at a different level with computers. At first, I was a little aggravated when we did the exercises in the afternoon because I didn't know what to do... however, once I realized we weren't turning them in and class credit wasn't dependent on these, I was ok with that. I also think we were able to cover more ground by not going step-by-step as a class through everything. As long as I know it's possible to do something (even if I don't know exactly how), then I can figure out how to do it or google it to find out. As far as counting this towards the certification, I would like to see the option of taking a test in order to exempt out of the other Office products - Excel, Word, etc. It can be time consuming and expensive to travel and miss workdays for these classes. Even an online class or webinar would be great.

I don't use Power Point in my job as a crime analyst currently, but I appreciated learning the skills as I may one day end up using them, or using them in another career.

Course was very helpful and informative

Instructor asked class to watch him and not to work while he was demonstrating. However after about an hour of instruction, he then gave us project to do. The issue I had was that after about hour discussion and numerous steps, I was not able to recall the beginning steps. Perhaps discussion and demonstration then walk through the steps with the class before the actual project. Other than that, it was superb class.

It was a very interesting class. I was able to learn new ways and apply them to my daily work assignments.

It was a lot of information. I think it would have been easier if it was taught over a longer period of time. More in class practices over a longer period of time.

Good instructor, but the course was too long and a lot of the things were very cool what he did, but not something that is time effective or necessary for presentation.

I think that overall it is a useful course. I learned about several features in powerpoint that I was not aware of and I feel more able to construct an effective presentation.

The training overall was fantastic. The instructor was very knowledgeable about the material and was very engaged with students during the training. The instructor showed he honestly cared about how the material will help us become better professionals in our respective agencies. I would definitely want this instructor to provide further trainings through this program.

Michael Warren showed great knowledge of Power Point and presented the information in manner, I feel, kept his audience engaged during his presentations. He made the class fun and open for questions. I have taken the class before and feel I still learned more from the class

One portion of the training was centered heavily on PowerPoint Animation. Would recommend less on animation and more on attaching video and audio to PowerPoint presentations.

Michael Warren is one of the best instructors that I have ever had the privilege of learning under. His dynamic presence and command of the subject was beyond impressive. The knowledge that I gleaned from this course will absolutely help me do my job better and I would recommend this class to anyone.
