As I stated yesterday, I am currently not an analyst. I work in evidence but am considering applying for our analyst position once our analyst retires in a couple of years. I have 17 years of law enforcement and a criminal justice degree and this course was easy to follow. I like that sources of research were provided along with programs used for reports and presentations and this class gave me information to help me identify what skills I need to learn/brush up on. Thank you.

I believe this course had a lot of really good information for someone who is new to crime analysis. I found that most of the information presented to me I had already received in other trainings. This course should be advertised as training for new analysts. I also believe that the instructor tried to get student interaction, but that is very difficult on a webinar - so there was very little interaction through no fault of the instructor. This course should not be taught as a webinar as I believe the networking with other analysts is a major benefit for this type of training.

This was probably the best student interaction I've had in an online course. Lots of ways to interact, whether through polls, the comment section or raising the hand icon. Really well done!

I really enjoyed the engagement from the instructor and having examples to walk through and giving current examples. I'm new to the analyst role and found this class super helpful. I would recommend for new analysts.

Great course, I have been an IA for 18 years and I was able to pickup on some new resources and tips and tricks on ppt presentations. I enjoyed this course very much. She went over a lot of things that individuals need to know early on in this field.

Katie did a wonderful job. I am new to the Crime Analyst world and have a strong administrative background. Everything she showed us was very useful and put a different perspective on some of the administrative realms of the CA world (her powerpoint ideas were helpful)!
