Learned a lot from the course and the instructor was great. I would've liked to see maybe a small part on FOIA and redacting reports for the media.

The course seemed pricey and drawn out. I think the cost/time/return could have been consolidated. This was my first exposure to PIO training, so I found it helpful in providing foundational principles and tools. For the cost, I would have preferred more from the the handouts and references and more efficiency in use of time. I can see how the course could be broken down into 3 modules: Principles, practices, and tools of PIO; Workshop: Constructing Public Release Statements; Social Media Platforms Lab.

This was a great class. I would have liked to be able to take the course in person and be challenged more with the examples. This was in no part the instructor's fault. It is just going to take some getting used to having to take webinars instead of learning in a classroom. That is why my mark was lower in the training location.

I would update your personal gmail account within your pdf and from being externally used. Id suggest a business one. Example: AGreen@policetechnical.com or Instructor@policetechnical.com if limits on how many emails users you can have. Perception speaks volumes especially as a PIO and I think it will build more credibility as training network grows. You did a great job and I appreciate your commitment to providing this training to officers.

I enjoyed the instructor's presentation. Lt. Green made the material understandable and simple, and was able to cover a large amount of material in a short amount of time.

There was way too much powerpoint slide and instructor talking. Videos and community engagement would have been nice. It was completely PIO. I signed up to participate in Outreach and Community Engagement. There was none of that. It was all media presentation. Maybe change the title of the class to just PIO and Media Engagement. My concentration was lost multiple times. The scenarios were unnecessary. Playing audio of a good and bad media phone call would have been sufficient.
