The course more than exceeded my expectations. I acquired a good working knowledge of the dark web and undercover investigations using technology that will help me to better understand the techniques used my law enforcement colleagues. The instructor was outstanding. He gave a very dynamic and thoroughly understandable presentation that provided valuable knowledge and experience to attendees with a wide background of experience.

This class was very informative and the practical work assisted in learning how to use the tools learned in an investigation. I would have liked to spend more time learning how to search the dark web to find information based on location and suspect if that was possible.

Due to the complexity of the course, the only thing I would like to see different, would be at the end of the course to really encourage all three teams to work together in their group. This had nothing to do with the Instructor, just some of the people in the groups stayed within their small group and it was not a true team effort. Also at the end of the final exercise, I would have loved to seen the Instructor do the case step by step slowly to really capture the whole process. The Instructor was super, really appreciated him and his knowledge and passion for this subject matter.

The course was a good course for beginners interested in Dark Web investigations. The course needs to include short explanations of how programs work so the investigators have an understanding to be able to survive depositions.

The course was very well put together. The information was very useful and provided a good for a good understanding of the subject. I will suggest that at the end during the practical exercise, the instructor should force more interaction between the group members by rearranging the tables and designating a person to assign certain tasks thus forcing everyone to work together.

This was a very good training. I learned a great deal of useful information. I can definitely see myself using some of the techniques presented in some of my work duties and it has also helped me with having the ability to ask relevant parties more detailed questions in some of the cases I work with.

The course was awesome where we were able to dabble in the Dark Web. We gained experience and knowledge of the tools used by criminals to obtain certain illegal items. We also gained the knowledge of how to potentially catch those criminals as well. Overall great course!

Knowledgeable and friendly instructor. I got out of the course exactly what I wanted and then some. I wanted to be able to understand what my detectives were talking about and how they would investigate dark web crimes. By taking this class I am now able to understand what they mean when speaking about the dark web, but now I can also navigate and possibly assist in investigations.

Excellent course. The materials presented were very informative, however the audience's experience level was mixed resulting in more time being spent helping people understand the basic technology taking away from the main objective. I would be interesting in attending an "advanced" version of this course, especially if prerequisites or an advertised minimum level of experience and knowledge are needed for the course.

This class provided many different tools to that will help further internet investigative skills. It would be even more beneficial if it was extended to a 5 day class.

I am a prosecutor and this training is more designed for cops/investigators but it was still helpful for me and I enjoyed it. Hands on, practical exercises. Felt like the introductions took too long. Could have done that differently and saved 45 minutes.

The city was great, but that hotel was subpar compared to those within a 5 mile radius. My only complaint about the course is the time wasted with frequent breaks and doing those pointless introductions. We literally wasted an hour Monday morning doing intros like a middle school program. Considering the wealth of information provided, I think valuable time could have been conserved by just providing nametags or encouraging mix and mingle during one of the 15 breaks. Otherwise, phenomenal course. Mike is an expert, for sure, and I would love to work with him in the future on real cases.
