Unfortunately we didn't go over the management of analytical units as some of the students had hoped. The topics that were shown on the online agenda were not what was actually covered in the class.

The instructor was clearly knowledgeable in the subject matter but it seemed like there was a disconnect between what the course description said and what the training ended up being. I was expecting to learn about how to "grow, develop, and manage" an analytical unit as well as plan a road map for my CAU's future. Instead, it focused much more on very general leadership qualities and general management techniques. It also felt like the course could have been condensed into one day. There is definitely a need for a course like you all described but this was, unfortunately, not it. I've never attended Police Technical training before so this doesn't really motivate me to seek out more training from you. With that being said, some of my co-workers have spoken highly of your training courses so I'm on the fence.

I felt the class was very basic and really did not follow the class summary. It was tailored more for the analyst working in a federal or military setting more than the every day police analyst. The instructor was very nice and had a lot of enthusiasm and really wanted the class to be meaningful for all.

The information on the slides was excellent but probably too much. The instructor knew the material and could lose some of the verbiage on the screen to increase the effectiveness of the presentation.

The instructor was very open to feedback to improve the course for the future. It was good material and information but was not exactly what was described in the original course description. Felt more like an intro to being an analyst that development and management of analytical units. Good class, just not exactly what I was expecting.
