The instructor was very informative. Even though I have had a lot of prior training on this subject, I walked away with some not views on testifying about cell tower information. I also learned valuable information about Spoofing and VOIP. I would highly recommend the class for everyone, even people who have been trained on the same subjects.

I do think that the course could have been better named. The 'real-time' portion was de-emphasized over more long-term analysis work. I still found the course useful, but it did not cover the subjects that I expected.

Part of the handout should include a much more step-by-step (with screen captures) instructions of converting/parsing CDRs from the four providers. While I have very little experience with Excel, Tom's presentation was extremely helpful. But, there is NO WAY the average student will retain the process of shrinking the CDRs down to a useful format without a step-by-step instruction for each. The handout was too cursory in this area. Perhaps these could be made available for registered students on your website. I would also do away with the first hour of "introduction of students and their knowledge" portion. This wasted too much time and could have been more wisely used with conducting practical exercises. I would also included BASIC Excel knowledge as a prerequisite on your class pamphlet. There was too much time spent catching the inexperienced students up with the rest of the class by walking them through the Excel issues.

The course should be broken down into beginners/advance. The class should be held to about 10 beginners for more help. The quality of the printed material should me in color and higher quality print so you can read it better. I would like to see beginners given a step by step process for each cell phone provider. The instructor was very knowledgeable and a good instructor. The beginning of the class where everyone has to write on the cards and pass them around and talk about each other is a waist of good training time. Hearing from 25 students is to much. Again the second morning using the 5x8 cards is a waist of time. There should not be more then 10 students in a class and they should be the same level. Break it up to level 1 then level 2.

Some of the exact terminology used and examples shown I will use in my courtroom presentations. This class was great and the instructor was knowledgeable and willing to answer all questions.
