The course was appealing based on the flyer. I believed the instruction boiled down to a few base points which could have been conveyed in less time. The PowerPoint format was a bit outdated and the handouts will likely not come in too handy. The disappointing thing was some of the outline topics were not covered (claims/arguments, speaking truth, impact of technology which was only covered a small amount). These were some of the key points I really wanted to get out of the class since my job relates to these abilities. It was also disappointing that I paid for the course and several people were provided opportunities to attend free from an email that was sent during the class. However, I understand why because there were only a few in the class initially and I presume that was done to create more participation. Just seemed unfair that some attended free while other paid. The instructor was good and encouraged participation.
