The class was informative and I was able to ask case specific questions to further my investigation. The case studies were excellent examples of how the skills learned in the class lead to successful prosecutions.

Great use of case studies. However, I would have liked to see and go over a case study from start to finish to get a better idea of overall investigative steps taken when involving cell phones.

While the content of the course was very interesting and highly educational in regards to digital and cell phone technology, the information presented was barely applicable to day to day law enforcement use. The content and information was not relevant to the average police officer or even detectives to be able to practically apply to law enforcement work. Most of the information and details was focused on the very technical aspect of the technology involved in cell phone networks and digital technology, and NOT on how law enforcement can and/or should use those details to do better police work. The highest request of participants in the class was on how to write and use cell phone search warrants and barely anything related to that topic was covered.
