Early confused the two classes, Sally was amazing but wish we didn't spend a whole day on presenting our group projects since we didn't have more days with her.

This course was very informative and the instructor was easy to follow. I enjoyed all of the material and learned a lot of useful tools that will aid in my tasks at my department.

While Sally was a good instructor, when she presented on being an effective analyst and how to qualify for certification, she almost came off discouraging. For instance, if you did not have ALL of the qualities listed, you would be unsuccessful. There were several new analysts in the room and that just came off very discouraging as a lot of those skills may start out weak, just due to subject matter, but with practice and exposure, become a skill-set. I did not really enjoy the project - I think the intent was to focus on "presenting", but as groups, there were a lot of students who wanted to "solve" the "case" and I think that took away from focusing on the actual presentation and formatting the ppt, etc. For a beginners class, even though there are veteran students, the presentation was geared more towards someone who already knew the content, not someone who was completely new. Some of the new analysts have NO law enforcement background.

Great instructor! She knows her stuff and was able to engage with the class. Instructor was very open to class ideas, thoughts, and opinions. Also she was funny which is always a plus. Please note I submitted this evaluation online just a few moments ago. My ratings and comments were thought to have been for the Excel portion of the course. My apologies for the mix up.
