The Real Time course is very similar to the Cellphone Investigation course the Police Technical provides. I signed up for this training specifically for Real Time data analysis such as PCMD, RTT, NELOS and RTD data. CDR training was already covered in previous courses so I didn't need a repeat. My understanding was that Real Time data is more of an advance training. One other major problem I have with the training was having a defense subject matter expert (SME) in the class. The whole class had to be careful not to talk openly about ongoing cases or strategies while that Defense SME was present. This is a Police Technical course and their clientele should be law enforcement, not for public defenders office. In the future I would like to know ahead of time if there are public defender folks in the class. Then I can cancel and register in a different class.

This isn't a Real-Time course. This is an Microsoft Excel course. I received the exact same training in your Cell Phone Investigations and Cell Tower Data and Mapping course. The Instructor was good. The title of the class is very misleading.

This class is almost identical to Cell Phone Data and Mapping (and Cell Phone Investigations) class which I already took. 75% of this class is regurgitation. I paid to sit in a class that I pretty much sat in before. And there was really no content about anything close to Real Time Cell Phone Investigations, like the title would suggest. Absolutely nothing. In general, I like Police Technical classes, especially for the price, but it's getting to feel like a one-trick pony. I would highly recommend making Cell Phone Data and Mapping class a prerequisite to this class, so that we can go deeper into more advanced topics, such as actual Real Time Tracking topics, in this class. It pays a major disservice to those of us that wanted more than how to manipulate CDR's in excel. Call Detail Records ARE NOT REAL TIME, or anything close. And forcing us to answer all these questions, even when we have no opinion, will skew the results... for instance, all those under Final Comments I will now have to say NO to, instead of being neutral. How does that help your feedback process, if its not accurate data for you? (Also, combining "Would you recommend this COURSE/INSTRUCTOR..." why combine question like that??? recommend course=no, recommend instructor=yes.

This course covered several topics and showed some time saver steps. The open discussions were very helpful for all officers for further knowledge on these topics.

This was an excellent course with an excellent instructor. The material was current and the instructor did a great job of explaining everything. The formulas for the Excel portion were much easier to follow.
