Course Overview
PowerPoint® for Public Safety™ is designed to assist all public safety personnel become more efficient and proficient with PowerPoint®.
95% of our students report they are “self-taught” in PowerPoint, most say they “use it pretty well”, but almost all report “they’re not using it to its full potential”. PowerPoint® for Public Safety™ address this need by providing the critical skills needed to effectively present information in a variety of settings including: the Academy, in-house/in-service training, public meetings, courtroom, and executive briefings.
This course has been presented at Administrative, Communication, Executive, Forensic, Homicide, Instructor, Intelligence, Investigation, Narcotic, Prosecution, and Tactical conferences for 15 years.

Day Three (Optional)
- Hands On Activities – Attendees develop their own materials in a structured hands-on environment.
- Custom Development – Attendees work with instructor on existing case materials in need of support.
Brandon Baldwin
Brandon Baldwin is a 19-year veteran of law enforcement with the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Beginning his career in 2006, he has held a variety of specialized assignments and has worked throughout California. Some of those assignments include FTO, Special Response Team, Academy Instructor, Special Enforcement Unit, Internal Affairs Investigator, and Critical Incident Investigation Team Member.
Brandon was promoted to sergeant in 2014, and lieutenant in 2023. Prior to promoting to lieutenant, Brandon graduated from the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute (Class 421). Brandon has a passion for instruction and teaches various classes within the CHP, which include instructional development and leadership. In 2023, Brandon completed his Master of Science in Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement Leadership. Brandon also serves as an Adjunct Professor for Sierra College.
Brandon lives in northern California with his wife and three children.
