POLICE TECHNICAL is now a reseller for CRC Press and Elsevier publishing houses.

Through these partnerships, POLICE TECHNICAL is also rapidly expanding its bookstore, adding over 40 new titles and several subjects that complement its law enforcement training.

“The selection mimics the solutions and services we provide nationally for law enforcement,” said Thomas Manson, CEO of POLICE TECHNICAL.  “We are able to be selective and offer only the works that benefit our community.”

Two years ago, the company established its publishing division, POLICE PUBLISHING, to shift its focus from solely providing hands-on instruction. After releasing two nationally renowned books, Cell Phone Investigations and Warrantless Searches, the division launched its online bookstore in spring 2015.

Thousands of law enforcement personnel have already downloaded PowerPoint presentations and white papers through POLICE TECHNICAL. However, CRC Press and Elsevier’s books, ranging from topics such as Analytics to Digital Forensics, will also be informative and crucial to public safety, Manson said.

“Since we were already recognized as leaders in training, which involved so much content creation [books, PowerPoint presentations, and white papers], dedicating resources to original and shared development of physical books and related content was an easy additional to our list of services,” Manson said.

POLICE TECHNICAL is proud to work with these internationally respected entities and looks forward to offering a vast collection of materials to its readers.

“Our relationship with CRC Press and Elsevier shows our commitment to serving law enforcement’s educational needs and indicates how far we’ve [POLICE PUBLISHING] have progressed in a very short time,” Manson said.
